Steampro’s 7 Step Cleaning Process
Step #1: Pre-Inspection
One of our professional technicians will do a walk through inspection with you to identify any areas of concern that you may have, any soiling condition, carpet construction, and any potential permanent stains.
Step #2: Basic Furniture Moving
Living room items such as; Sofas, chairs and small tables can be carefully moved. Larger pieces, such as beds, dressers, entertainment centers are left in place under our normal pricing structure. Any furniture that is moved with wood or metal legs will be protected with disposable blue foam blocks or plastic tabs to prevent any wood stains or rust forming on the carpet.
Step #3: Pre-spotting
Certain spots are pre-treated if needed.
Step #4: Pre-Spray and Pre-Groom
Your carpet will be pre-conditioned with the appropriate product in order to help loosen the soil for a more effective soil and spot removal. Our pre-conditioner is a Carpet and Rug Institute tested and approved environmentally, children and pet friendly biodegradable product. Your carpet will be pre-groomed with a carpet groomer, where necessary (depending on soil level), to further loosen traffic area soils.
Step #5: Hot Water Extraction rinse (Steam Cleaning)
Once the soils have been pre-loosened, Steampro’s state-of-the-art Hot Water Extraction carpet cleaning process will thoroughly flush and clean the carpet fibers. Pressure and 230-250 degree heated water are used to deep clean and sanitize your carpet.
Step #6: Post Spot Treatment
If any spots are not removed during the cleaning process, specialty spotting techniques can be employed – we have special techniques for almost every situation.
Note: Certain stains and carpet damage may be permanent and may not be removed.
